Third Day Church Foundation
A Vision for Community
Flourishing
"And let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful."
— Titus 3:14
Our Vision
Third Day Church Foundation is modeled after Titus 3:14 to serve as the community development and strategic outreach arm of Third Day Church. Rooted in Scripture and shaped by the needs of Granville County, the Foundation advances mercy, justice, and restoration through practical engagement with individuals and families facing systemic and personal challenges.
While Third Day Church focuses on worship, discipleship, and spiritual formation, the Foundation focuses on tangible expressions of love—meeting pressing needs, strengthening pathways to stability, and supporting long-term community flourishing. Together, they operate with a shared mission, distinct functions, and a unified purpose.
Five Areas of Focus
Where We Serve
Education
We believe education is a pathway to dignity, opportunity, and generational transformation. The Third Day Church Foundation supports initiatives that promote academic support, literacy development, mentorship, and access to educational resources—particularly for children, youth, and families navigating barriers to success.
This work reflects the biblical call to pass wisdom from one generation to the next and to equip people with understanding that leads to life and flourishing.
Employment
Work is a gift from God and a means through which people provide, contribute, and find purpose. The Foundation supports workforce readiness, job training, skill development, and employment access, especially for individuals facing economic instability or limited opportunity.
By strengthening pathways to meaningful work, we seek to promote self-sufficiency, stability, and restored confidence within households and communities.
Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship fosters creativity, stewardship, and economic resilience. The Third Day Church Foundation encourages small business development, vocational innovation, and responsible enterprise, particularly among underserved and under-resourced individuals.
This focus affirms the biblical vision of wise stewardship, multiplication, and generational provision, empowering individuals to build sustainable futures through initiative and creativity.
Emergency Crisis Support
We recognize that a crisis can strike suddenly, through housing instability, food insecurity, medical emergencies, or unforeseen hardship. The Foundation provides short-term, responsive support to stabilize individuals and families during urgent needs.
This work reflects the call to bear one another's burdens and to respond with compassion, generosity, and practical care when help is needed most.
Re-Entry (Prison)
We believe in redemption, restoration, and second chances. The Third Day Church Foundation supports re-entry initiatives that assist individuals transitioning from incarceration back into community life by addressing barriers to employment, housing, mentorship, and relational support.
This focus reflects God's heart for restoration, dignity, and new beginnings, affirming that no past is beyond the reach of grace or the possibility of renewal.
One Mission
A Unified Mission, Distinct Roles
The Third Day Church Foundation will operate as a separate 501(c)(3) entity to ensure clarity, accountability, and effectiveness in community-focused work. While distinct in function, the Foundation and the Church remain aligned in mission, working together to reflect the love of Christ through both instruction and proclamation.
Through these five focus areas, the Foundation seeks not only to meet immediate needs but to contribute to long-term stability, opportunity, and hope throughout Creedmoor and Granville County.
